Our WFISD Career Education Center Advanced Culinary students had the wonderful opportunity to participate in the Empty Bowls event on October 21st, a special fundraiser benefiting the Wichita Falls Area Food Bank! ❤️

Our talented student chefs brought a taste of Brazil to the table with their delicious Brazilian Shrimp Coconut Curry Soup! 🇧🇷🥥🍤

From preparing the dish to serving guests, our students gained valuable real-world culinary experience while supporting an incredible cause that helps fight hunger in our community!

👏 A special thank-you to Chef Luna for her dedication to our students and for creating opportunities that take learning beyond the classroom! Her guidance and passion for culinary education help our students build confidence, develop professional skills, and experience what it means to be part of the culinary industry.

We are so proud of these students for showcasing their creativity, teamwork, and culinary talents while giving back to our community!

TRUNKS WANTED!

Our Wichita Falls FFA Annual Trunk or Treat is right around the corner, and we need YOUR help making this a fun-filled evening for the kids in our community!

Tuesday, October 27th
6:30–8:30 PM

WE STILL NEED TRUNKS! Whether you're an individual, business, or organization, we'd love for you to join us! Decorate your trunk, bring some treats, and help our FFA students create a memorable evening for Wichita Falls families!

Here's what's happening:
Trunk or Treat – Fun and treats for the kids!
Costume Contest – Open to students in 5th grade and younger, beginning at 7:00 PM.
Best Decorated Trunk Contest – Bring your creativity and join the fun!
PACK THE TRAILER! – Help our FFA students give back to the community! Bring $5 or 5 nonperishable canned goods to support the Wichita Falls Area Food Bank. Let's fill that trailer!

Come Hungry! – The Wichita Falls FFA Alumni & Supporters will be selling meal deals throughout the evening!

We LOVE Our Wichita Falls PIE!

At the Career Education Center, we are incredibly grateful for our community partners who continually go above and beyond to support our campus!

We want to give a special THANK YOU to three of our wonderful Partners in Education who have recently shown our CEC family some love!

City Hope Church– Thank you for treating our staff to a delicious breakfast last week! What a wonderful way to start our day and remind our teachers and staff how much they are appreciated!

ER Now – Thank you for the thoughtful treat in recognition of Principal Appreciation Month! Your kindness and recognition were truly appreciated!

Kim Maddin and United Regional – Thank you for generously providing lunch and drinks for our entire CEC staff! We appreciate your continued partnership with WFISD and your commitment to recognizing the hard work and dedication of our educators!
