High Fire Danger today, but the big news is we may stay below 100° today… in mid-September! Fairly promising chances of rain next week, but we aren’t counting our chickens before the eggs hatch. It’s still hot, it’s still dry, and we’re still in a Burn Ban.

High Fire Danger today, along with weather fire thrives in. Make sure chains aren’t dragging and do not drive on a flat tire. Many roadside starts occur from the hot metal shavings being flung into the dry grass. If you see a fire with no firefighters on scene, do not hesitate to call 911.
