Certified professional counselors provide professional assistance with routings, current information on points of interest, events and road conditions in the state. Also provided are free maps and a variety of free statewide and local travel literature. Hours of Operation: 8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. CT seven days a week - 8:00 a.m. - 6:00 p.m. Memorial Day weekend through Labor Day. Closed only on Easter Sunday, Thanksgiving Day, the day before Christmas, Christmas Day, and New Year's Day. Located in the "Panhandle Plains" region of Texas. The Wichita Falls Travel Information Center invites you to our “Drive Like a Texan: Kind -Courteous-Safe” event on

Wednesday, June 24th at 10:00 am – right here in our parking lot.

Join us as speakers discuss the serious risks associated with ATVs, motorcycles, and bicycles, and learn how sharing the road by following traffic laws keeps riders and drivers safe.

Burkburnett Police Department
Burkburnett Fire Department
Wichita Falls Streams & Valleys
