Congratulations!

Let's hear it for Sedgwick County Environmental Resources! The department recently received the Outstanding Solid Waste Project Award from the Solid Waste Association of North America.

This is in recognition of the several programs Environmental Resources runs to keep waste out of the landfills. These include the bulky waste coupons, mattress coupons, electronic waste drives and more.

Over the past several years these programs have kept 114 MILLION POUNDS of solid waste from going to landfills. Keep up the great work, we're so proud of you!💙
