🚨 TORNADO SIREN BACK IN SERVICE 🚨

After approximately a month and a half out of service due to an electrical failure within the siren control system, we are pleased to announce that our tornado siren is now fully operational and back in service.

We would like to extend our sincere appreciation to Ed Wise with Sirens for Cities for his assistance in diagnosing the issue and getting the replacement siren controller to us. His expertise and assistance were greatly appreciated throughout the process.

We would also like to thank Deputy Fire Chief William Crafton for taking the time to install the new siren controller, as well as a new antenna at the top of the siren pole to ensure the system is properly operational.

Finally, a special thank-you goes to the Wickliffe Rural Fire Department for allowing us to utilize their ladder truck, which made the antenna installation possible and allowed us to safely complete the work.

We appreciate everyone’s patience and support while we worked to get the system repaired. Our tornado warning siren is now back in service and ready to help protect our community when severe weather threatens.

Thank you to everyone who helped make this repair possible! 🚨
