Hey y’all! Ruby’s mom here again! 🐾❤️
We are SO, SO, SO, SO proud of how hard our girl worked today! 🥹❤️ As you can see, she is absolutely EXHAUSTED!
Ruby did okay during her refresher training today, but we quickly realized our girl has A LOT of catching up to do! We’re coming home with lots and lots of homework and skills to master before she heads off for FOUR… yes, FOUR whole weeks of advanced training! 🐾💪
Today, we sat down and created a wonderful training plan specifically for Ruby, focusing on helping her grow, building her confidence, challenging her abilities, and preparing her for the important role Steven and I envision her fulfilling for our city and county. ❤️🚒
The training facility was absolutely BEAUTIFUL, and our new trainer was WONDERFUL! We truly couldn’t have asked for a better meet and greet or a more positive experience today. We are so excited about this new chapter and everything that lies ahead for our girl!
For now, Ruby will finish up her Fire Prevention Month visits at all of our schools and attend the games and events we already have scheduled. After that, her calendar will officially CLOSE until we get her advanced training dates finalized.
These next steps are going to be TOUGH. Physically, mentally, and emotionally, Ruby is going to be challenged and pushed to reach a whole new level. It won’t be easy, and there is a lot of hard work ahead of us, but we believe in her with everything we have! ❤️
Our goal has never been for Ruby to just be a cute Dalmatian riding around on a fire truck. We want her to have a purpose, make a difference, and become an even greater asset to the communities we love and serve. 🚒🐾
We know she has so much potential, and we’re committed to giving her every opportunity to reach it!
For tonight, though, our sweet girl has earned some serious rest, extra love, and probably a few treats! 🥹❤️
Big things are coming for Ruby to the Rescue, and we cannot wait to watch her grow! 🐾🚒❤️
