It was wonderful to have Cyndi Munson travel to the Wilburton Public Library this morning to meet with Oklahomans. She listened to constituent concerns, answered our tough questions, and asked for our vote. This was the second time Cyndi has made the journey down to Wilburton to meet with rural Oklahomans. Cyndi continues to work hard for our votes and we hope to see her win the Governor's race!

Remember when you were a kid and had to vote to decide what board game to play or tv show to watch? (this was before everyone had their own game/show in their pocket) The winners would always squeal with delight, “Majority rules!” We learned democracy first hand in our living rooms and on the playground.

Not anymore. The Majority stays home and a motivated Minority decides our elections. And registered Dems are the worst. How can we help regular people realize how important their vote is to our Democracy? And their daily lives!

The Oklahoma Emergency Drought Committee is scheduled to hold their next meeting Tuesday, September 22, 2026, at 11 a.m.
