🎃 Don’t let a night of Halloween fun turn into a real nightmare! 👻

This Halloween, the Wildwood Police Department reminds you to plan your ride before the celebrations begin. If you’re drinking, leave the keys behind and designate a sober driver, book a rideshare, or arrange a ride with someone you trust. 🚗

Help keep our streets safe for everyone celebrating Halloween. Buzzed Driving Is Drunk Driving!

Our community sure knows how to make first responders feel appreciated! 💙

Thank you to The Harrison of Wildwood for hosting a drive-thru appreciation breakfast for National First Responders Day, and to Trinity Springs Retirement Community of Oxford for hosting afternoon drive-thru snacks and stopping by the police station with goody bags for our officers!

We’re grateful for the kindness, thoughtfulness, and support you show those who serve. Thank you for all you did to make this day special for those on the front lines! 🚔

This morning, the Wildwood Police Department joined law enforcement agencies from across Central Florida for the 49th Annual Crimeline Awards & Recognition Breakfast, honoring those who have worked alongside Crimeline to solve cases and bring justice to victims.

We also had the opportunity to see today’s keynote speaker, United States of America Miss, Karrington True, and Crimeline Executive Director Barbara “Detective Barb” Bergin!

Crimeline connects our communities with law enforcement by giving people a way to share information anonymously. Its SpeakOut program also gives students a place to speak up about threats, weapons, and other school safety concerns.

You can help make a difference in your community. Download the free P3 Tips app, visit https://crimeline.org, or call 800-423-TIPS (8477) to submit an anonymous tip. Tips that help solve felony crimes may be eligible for a cash reward.

Thank you to Crimeline and everyone recognized today for your commitment to safer communities! 💙
