The Wilkes-Barre Fire Dept Athletic Association is offering for raffle a set of 4 tickets to the Banana ball game being held at PNC Field @ Montage Mountain on May 23rd between the Firefighters and the Loco Beach Coconuts. These Tickets will be in the Kost Tire Pavilion, and include food and non-alcoholic beverages 1 hour prior to game time and 1.5 hours after the start of the game.
Gates open at 5pm, with first pitch scheduled for 6pm.

The cost will be $10 per slot in the raffle and a total of 100 spots. Once all slots in the raffle are filled the date and time of the drawing will be announced here on our page.

In sticking with our hockey theme as of late, the proceeds from this raffle will be used to help a few local children learn to play hockey at our ice rink in the city on Coal St during their “Learn to Play” events.

Payments can be made through the Athletic Association Venmo with the caption “banana ball” and the number of slots you would like

Well, the Wilkes-Barre Responders Hockey Club will be back on the ice at the Mohegan Arena PA, April 18th against the PA State Police! One price gets you into the responders hockey game and the Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Penguins vs Rochester game at night for fan appreciation & first responders night! We had an amazing showing for the first game, lets keep the momentum going!!

Now that the dust has settled and the bruising and soreness has gone down (kind of)…. We’d like to take this time to say THANK YOU for everyone who was involved in last weekends Battle of the Badges hockey game! We can not believe over 550 tickets were sold with proceeds going to the great Patriots Cove.

To our members who spent countless hours putting the game together, Scranton Firefighters for going along with this crazy idea, the community members who donated and bought tickets, the city administration for the support, Mohegan Arena PA and their staff, and everyone we may have forgotten. THANK YOU!!!

Keep an eye out for future “Responders Hockey Club” games coming soon and we look forward to bringing the cup back to Wilkes-Barre next year!
