What happens when curiosity, compassion, and community come together? An inspiring day of learning and service!
We were thrilled to welcome the Wegmans Interns to the CEO Weinberg Food Bank for a Hunger 101 experience led by our Registered Dietitian, Mary Kay. The group learned about food insecurity in our community, explored our facility during a guided tour, and gained a deeper understanding of who we are and the vital work we do every day.
The experience ended with action as the interns rolled up their sleeves and packed food boxes that will help nourish local families facing hunger.
Thank you for your enthusiasm, thoughtful questions, and commitment to making a difference. Your time and energy help strengthen our mission of People Helping People, and we are grateful to have shared this experience with you.
