📸🌧️ WILLIAMS, SHARE YOUR VIEW!

Have flooding photos from Williams, Garland Prairie, Parks, or the surrounding areas? Let’s bring our community’s pictures together in the comments below! 💙

📍 Tell us the general location and when the photo was taken.
📷 Share your own pictures, or give the photographer credit if you have permission to share theirs.

⚠️ Your safety comes FIRST! Please share photos you’ve already taken safely. Do not head out to flooded areas for a picture, cross flooded roads, or go around barricades.

Thank you for helping us see what our neighbors are experiencing and for looking out for one another. Stay safe, Williams! 💙

🚧🌧️ FLOODING AROUND THE WILLIAMS AREA 🌧️🚧

These photos show flooding on and alongside roads in our area, including:

📍 The Garland Prairie exit area off I-40
📍 Off the 124, past Country Club Road
📍 Garland Prairie Road heading toward Parks

Please take these conditions seriously!

⚠️ DO NOT cross flooded roads, even if the water looks shallow or another vehicle made it through.
⚠️ Never drive around barricades or road closures.
⚠️ Keep children and pets away from floodwater.
⚠️ Avoid unnecessary travel in affected areas.

These photos show conditions when they were taken. A clear stretch of pavement does not mean the entire route is safe.

💛 Please be patient, look out for one another, and make the safe choice. We want everyone to make it home safely.

🚧🌧️ WILLIAMS, PLEASE DO NOT CROSS FLOODED ROADS! 🌧️🚧

Airport Road/Pronghorn Ranch Road, Williams

We cannot emphasize this enough: If water is covering the road, DO NOT attempt to cross, even if it looks shallow or you know the road well.

Floodwater can hide damaged pavement or a washed-out roadway. What looks passable could put you and your passengers in danger.

🚫 Never drive or walk through floodwater.
🚫 Never go around barricades or road closures.
🚫 Never assume it is safe because another vehicle made it through.

Please keep children and pets away from rushing water, flooded washes, and drainage areas.

💛 Taking a chance is never worth your life. Please make the safe choice for yourself, your family, and the first responders who may be called to help.

TURN AROUND, DON’T DROWN!

🌧️🚧 PLEASE STAY SAFE, WILLIAMS! 🚧🌧️
Sunday, November 1

With wet weather continuing, please use extra caution and look out for one another.

⚠️ DO NOT drive or walk across flooded roads, even if they look safe to cross! Water can hide damaged pavement, and it can be difficult to judge its depth or strength. Please respect all barricades and road closures.

🌧️ THIS AFTERNOON: The National Weather Service forecasts continued showers with possible thunderstorms, areas of fog, and wind gusts up to 33 mph. Temperatures are expected to fall to around 46° by late afternoon.

🌨️ TONIGHT: Showers may mix with snow after 9 p.m. before gradually ending. Little or no snow accumulation is expected, with a low around 33°.

🏡 Avoid unnecessary travel, keep children and pets away from flowing water and washes, and use extra caution after dark.

💛 Please take your time and make the safe choice. We want everyone to make it home safely!

TURN AROUND, DON’T DROWN!

⚡🚧 HEADS UP, WILLIAMS! APS WORK IN THE AREA 🚧⚡
The City of Williams would like to give our residents a friendly heads-up about some upcoming activity in the area.
Beginning Wednesday, October 28, 2026, Arizona Public Service (APS) and its contractor, Power Contracting, will begin work at the Kaibab Substation, located North of I-40 on Airport Rd.
🔧 WHAT CAN YOU EXPECT?
✅ APS & Power Contraction is using a portion of the area for transmission related improvements.
✅ Residents and neighbors may notice APS and Power Contracting vehicles in the vicinity, including some vehicles parked along the roadway.
🏡 WHY ARE WE SHARING THIS?
We want to keep our community informed so that residents, especially those living near the substation, know what is happening and why they may see additional vehicles, equipment, and crews in the area.
There is no need for confusion or concern when you see crews working. This is planned APS improvements.
