B‑Shift had one for the books tonight.
Williamson Fire Department crews were pushed from one end of town to the other with a nonstop string of calls that kept every unit moving.
🚒 Shift Highlights
MVC with Entrapment — Units responded to a tractor‑trailer vs. power pole collision. The impact snapped the pole, leaving live wires draped across the cab and the driver trapped. The energized lines ignited the trailer, creating a fire hazard while crews coordinated with AEP and worked carefully around the live wires to safely remove the driver.
Trash Fire — A quick knockdown by B‑Shift after smoke was reported in the area. Crews extinguished the fire and checked for extension.
Agency Assist for STAT — Personnel assisted STAT EMS on a medical call, providing support and manpower during patient care and packaging.
Falls Call — Units responded to a fall patient, provided assessment, and assisted EMS with transport.
Working Structure Fire — The night capped off with a working fire on Vinson Street, where crews stretched lines, performed a primary search, and brought the incident under control after an aggressive interior attack.
🔥 A wild night, handled with professionalism.
WFD showed exactly what teamwork, training, and commitment look like. Multiple incidents, overlapping calls, and high‑risk situations — all managed with steady hands and solid decision‑making.
