🗓️ 2. Act 170 Merger Committee Meeting: Join us remotely for the upcoming Act 170 Merger Committee Group 20 meeting to stay informed and hear updates on our planning process.

Paine Mountain School District
October 5, 2026

The Paine Mountain School District (PMSD) has a current vacancy on its School Board representing the Town of Northfield, following the recent resignation of a board member.

The PMSD Board of Directors will appoint an eligible Northfield resident to serve in this role for the remainder of the current school year. This position will be on the March 2, 2027 Town Meeting ballot, where voters will elect a board member to serve a full 3-year term.

Potential candidates have until Monday, October 19, 2026 to express their interest, with the goal of appointing a new member at the Wednesday, October 21, 2026 meeting.

If you are a Northfield resident and are interested in being considered for this interim appointment, please contact the Paine Mountain Board Chair, Dan Morris at [email protected] to express your interest and briefly describe why you would like to serve.
