Today, we had the pleasure of formally thanking Connecticut State Senator Mae Flexer and Representative Susan Johnson for helping secure $100,000 in state funding for Project HOPE of Eastern Connecticut.

This vital investment will help sustain our ongoing operations and services for adults experiencing homelessness and housing instability throughout Eastern Connecticut. We are grateful to Senator Flexer and Representative Johnson for their support and commitment to addressing homelessness in our region.

Thank you for standing with Project HOPE and the people we serve!

💙 Project HOPE is about so much more than emergency shelter!

Since 2003, we’ve supported thousands of unstably housed adults in eastern Connecticut by connecting people with services and resources that help them move forward and rebuild their lives.

That includes helping our community access important health resources! The Community Health Center Maternal Mobile Health Clinic will be back on November 5.

🎃 🏃‍♀️ LOOK AT THOSE RUNNERS! 🧡

Saturday was a beautiful day to run through the streets of Hampton! Our inaugural All Hallows Eve 5K Fun Run brought out runners, walkers, and some very special spectators. Yes, TWO HORSES were there to cheer everyone on! 🐴🐴

From the beautiful streetscape to the community spirit, it was a wonderful reminder of what can happen when people come together for a good cause.

Every step helped raise awareness and support for people experiencing homelessness in our community. We are so grateful to everyone who made this day possible! Interested in donating? Visit https://projecthopeect.org

🎃🧡 IT TAKES A VILLAGE!
Our inaugural All Hallows Eve 5K was a success because of the people and businesses who showed up and made it happen!

From our volunteers keeping runners hydrated at the water stop and cheering them on along the course, to our sponsors, local businesses, and community partners who supported the event, THANK YOU! We heard how much racers appreciated the water break and encouragement along the way.

Every helping hand, every act of generosity, and every cheer made a difference. You helped make this event about more than a race. You helped Project HOPE of Eastern CT support our neighbors experiencing homelessness, especially as colder temperatures arrive and the need for shelter grows.
We are so grateful for this community! 🧡
