Windham Senior Center & Human Services Department Human services for the entire community and a variety of fun activities for our Windham senior population! Please contact us for more information!

The Human Services Department focus on the health and welfare of Windham's residents through programs providing a variety of services aimed at meeting the human service needs of Windham residents in order to promote a maximum quality of life. The Windham Senior Center, enriches the lives of Windham’s adult community (ages 55 and older) by offering a variety of programming and services. It is the goal of the Windham Senior Center to provide access to social, nutritional, wellness and recreational opportunities in a supportive and accessible environment. The center promotes a wide variety of programs and services include but not limited to: recreation and leisure, health and wellness, games, day trips, nutritious luncheons, information and referral, social services and monthly senior newsletter.

UPDATE! Our mums have been returned! THANK YOU!!!! ❤️

Dear Willimantic Community,

The Windham Senior Center left some mums out on the patio over the weekend so they could get some water and sunlight. Unfortunately, they were all stolen from the Senior Center property.

In a time when budget cuts are a real thing affecting our Senior programs, it’s sad that the someone in community feels the need to take what is not theirs. We do not have the extra funds in our budget to replace the flowers, and while they may ‘just’ be flowers, our center was a little brighter and more cheerful with them inside. We care about our center and our members and try to make our place a welcoming one.

If anyone who may be responsible can please return the mums to our patio, we would be grateful.

Attention Senior Center members:

PLEASE NOTE: The Valley Street side parking lot at the Windham Community & Senior Center will be closed tomorrow morning, October 1st through 1:00 p.m. for painting and striping.

Parking will be available on the Main Street side of the building. Please plan accordingly to avoid an early morning surprise.

Winter is just around the corner, as well as Fall Cleanup time! Our senior neighbors and residents in need of some extra help often call and ask us for information about who to call for assistance in shoveling their driveways, or making a minor repair.

If you are interested in having your contact information put on a list to be given out to senior residents, many of whom are on fixed incomes, please send the following information:

We would like to express our gratitude to Pam, the amazing LMT who has provided massage services to our seniors for the last several years! Pam will be stepping away from the Senior Center appointments to focus on other areas, including her own business at Baah Spa in Franklin. We will miss her and wish her well! If you would like to continue your massage therapy with Pam, please feel free to reach out to her, and/or her amazing coworkers, at Baah Spa.

In the meantime, we are looking for a Licensed Massage Therapist who may be interested in providing services at the Windham Senior Center. If you know of anyone who may be interested, please share this with them!
