Pokémon have taken over New Danville! ⚡

The Wranglers put their creativity to work making their own figurines, then used Pokémon GO to practice navigational skills as they followed the app to track down different Pokémon around campus.

It was a fun way to combine hands-on creativity with real-world navigation skills.

It’s always a pleasure to share what makes New Danville so special!

We were thrilled to welcome Montgomery County Precinct 3 Commissioner Ritch Wheeler and his team, Ronda Trow and Matt Beasley, for a tour of our community. They had the opportunity to visit our Wranglers in their classes and see firsthand how New Danville creates opportunities for adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities to live, learn, work, and grow. 💙

Meaningful community partnerships begin with connection. We’re grateful for the opportunity to build relationships with local leaders who take the time to learn about our mission and the people who make it possible. Thank you for spending the day with us!

The Mavericks took the mic and made karaoke their own!

The playlist jumped from Disney classics to rock ’n’ roll, with Christmas hits making an early (but welcome!) appearance too. More than anything, it was fun to see everyone cheering each other on and enjoying the spotlight together. 🎤

It’s hard to imagine New Danville without John Massey.

John has been part of our community since the very beginning, playing an integral role in building the foundation of New Danville as we know it today. Through the years, his kindness, compassion, and unwavering dedication have made him a beloved member of our team and a treasured friend to so many Wranglers.

As John begins his well-deserved retirement, we celebrate the countless ways he has contributed to New Danville and our lives. His impact will be felt for years to come, and he will always have a special place in the New Danville family. 💙

Thank you, John, for your many years of service and dedication. Congratulations on your retirement!

Christmas ornaments are already in the works at New Danville…🎄

Ceramics Class is hands-on in the truest sense. The Wranglers work with the material directly, learning how much pressure to use, how to shape each piece, and how small choices can change the final (and in this case festive) result.

It’s never too early to get into the holiday spirit!

The Wranglers were back on the water for the 27th Annual YMCA Dragon Boat Races! 🐉

REPSOL invited us to participate with them again this year, allowing the Wranglers to practice teamwork and take on the race together. Outings like this are an important part of life at New Danville as they help the Wranglers connect to the wider community, spend time together outside the ranch, and make lifelong memories.

We’re beyond grateful to Repsol for continuing to welcome us so warmly and for being such a valued community partner to New Danville. Their commitment to inclusion helps create experiences where our Wranglers are not just invited, but part of the moment. 🚣

We’re grateful for the people who show up for New Danville in such meaningful ways. 🤝

A volunteer group from Crossroads Baptist Church recently spent time on campus helping clean the White Pasture fence, pressure wash the pavilion, tidy the Meadowbrook flower beds, and organize class supplies.

Their time and care made a real difference, and we’re so thankful for their willingness to help make New Danville an even better place for the Wranglers who live, learn, work, and grow here every day.

The Wranglers put their creativity to work in Woodshop Class!

This time, they worked on custom wall decor, shaping their pieces, working with tools, adding their own details, and turning the raw wood into something uniquely theirs. 🪵

The best part was getting to take home something they made themselves.

We were honored to join The Woodlands Area Chamber of Commerce for its Annual Awards Luncheon, where a special tribute celebrated the life and lasting contributions of Steve Sanders, husband of New Danville Founder Kathy Sanders.

Seeing Steve’s legacy honored in a room filled with people who experienced his impact made the moment especially meaningful. New Danville was also recognized for 20 years of Chamber membership, a reminder of the relationships we’ve built within the local business community and a milestone we’re incredibly proud to celebrate. 🤝

Thank you to The Woodlands Area Chamber of Commerce for such a special afternoon!
