The American Legion hung out with the Family Crisis Shelter and our very own Grant competed for the belt of most good-looking and most giving! Grant raised close to $20,000 with his auction items and strutted his stuff in thrift store clothes for a good cause!
He took home the 6-lb Zoolander belt and the event as a whole raised over 111,000 for the new space that the Family Crisis Shelter is putting together for our community!

Join us for the following dates from 3pm-6pm at the Strike Zone & Sports Den in Williston, ND for free bowling, pizza, and soda!
This event is open to all Veterans and their families!
You do not need to be a member of the American Legion to attend - but we'd love to meet ya regardless!

Two Veterans. One great cause!
Tonight - two Veterans will get on the stage for the Second Chance Runway in an effort to raise money for the Family Crisis Shelter! While this isn't typically the fashion (pun intended) you see these two guys in - we're proud of them for stepping out of their comfort zones and raising some money for our community projects!

Tickets are sold out for this night - but we might show you their runway fashion walks after the event! :)

In 2025, local Jayla Roberts entered a small contest in Williston, North Dakota. She did so well that she won the local, district, AND regional levels of competition. She then went on to represent North Dakota, Williston, and Post 37 at the 2026 nation contest in Hillsdale, Michigan.

Thanks to the 20 brave souls who turned out today for our Mental Health & Su***de Awareness Run!

We laid down 262 miles today, and I’m sure glad a little water didn’t scare this crew away! We made some miles, shared plenty of laughs, made some new friends, and most importantly, rode for a cause that matters.

A special shoutout to Dobre Brewhouse in Beach for opening up for our run and cooking us some absolutely delicious pizzas! Pizza is usually their Sunday special, but they took care of us on a Saturday — and we greatly appreciate it!

Thank you to everyone who rode, supported, donated, or helped make today happen. Mental health matters. Su***de awareness matters. And sometimes simply showing up for one another can make all the difference.
