🚒 Williston Fire Rescue – Fiscal Year 2025/2026 🚒
Another busy year is in the books for Williston Fire Rescue! During FY 2025/2026, our personnel responded to 2,259 calls for service, an 11% increase from the 2,032 calls handled the previous fiscal year.
Of those calls, 904 were within the City of Williston, while 1,058 were in unincorporated area of Williston, along with responses into Bronson, Morriston, and other zones. Our crews handled everything from medical emergencies and vehicle accidents to fires, hazardous situations, and public service calls.
⏱️ Response time continues to be a major priority. Our average response time inside the City of Williston was approximately 3 minutes, 30 seconds, compared with the 9-minute national average shown in the graphic. In the unincorporated county area, our average was approximately 8 minutes, compared with the 14-minute national average shown.
As our community and call volume continue to grow, so does the demand placed on our firefighters. We remain committed to providing dependable, professional emergency services to the City of Williston and the surrounding communities we serve — 24 hours a day, 365 days a year.

The cost of providing fire and emergency medical services has changed dramatically over the past several years. Behind every response is equipment, staffing, training, facilities, insurance, and countless supplies needed to keep our firefighters prepared and protected.

These aren't luxuries. They are the tools and resources our firefighters need to safely respond when our community needs them most. From the protective gear worn on a structure fire, to the apparatus responding to a medical emergency, to the people staffing our stations around the clock- every piece plays a role in providing the level of service our community depends on.
