A great week connecting, collaborating, and talking all things economic development at EDND! โœจ

One theme that continued to come up was ๐ฉ๐š๐ซ๐ญ๐ง๐ž๐ซ๐ฌ๐ก๐ข๐ฉ๐ฌ. No one community or organization has all the answers, and that's what makes collaboration so important. When we share knowledge, build relationships, and bring the right people to the table, we create more opportunities for the communities we serve.

We loved the opportunity to network with fellow professionals, learn from one another, and share more about Tri-County's work, including our ๐‘๐ž๐ ๐ข๐จ๐ง๐š๐ฅ ๐–๐จ๐ซ๐ค๐Ÿ๐จ๐ซ๐œ๐ž ๐ˆ๐ฆ๐ฉ๐š๐œ๐ญ ๐๐ซ๐จ๐ ๐ซ๐š๐ฆ (๐‘๐–๐ˆ๐) project and our work with year one ๐‘๐‡๐“๐ initiatives.

A special shoutout to Shirelle for holding down the fort back at the office while we were out! We appreciate you! ๐Ÿ’™

We're back in the office with new connections, new ideas, and an even stronger reminder that when we work together, we can accomplish more for the communities we serve.

We know workforce challenges don't have simple answer. And chances are, many of these challenges have been discussed before.

So on ๐Ž๐œ๐ญ๐จ๐›๐ž๐ซ ๐Ÿ๐ŸŽ, we're taking the conversation a step further!

The ๐‘๐ž๐ ๐ข๐จ๐ง ๐Ž๐ง๐ž ๐–๐จ๐ซ๐ค๐Ÿ๐จ๐ซ๐œ๐ž ๐’๐ญ๐ซ๐š๐ญ๐ž๐ ๐ฒ ๐’๐ฎ๐ฆ๐ฆ๐ข๐ญ will bring together leaders from healthcare, energy and utilities, along with regional partners, to dig deeper into the issues affecting our workforce.

We'll look at what we're hearing, what's missing, where the opportunities are, and most importantly,

With facilitation from our partners, ILT Academy, participants will be challenged to think bigger, connect the dots and explore ideas that can help shape what's next for Region One.

The insights and priorities coming out of the day will help form the development of a

Workforce challenges aren't new but maybe the way we approach them should be!

On ๐Ž๐œ๐ญ๐จ๐›๐ž๐ซ ๐Ÿ๐ŸŽ, Region One leaders in healthcare and energy/utilities will come together for a different kind of workforce conversation.

This isn't a sit-and-listen event. It's a ๐ฐ๐จ๐ซ๐ค๐ข๐ง๐  summit designed to identify real challenges, think bigger about what's possible and work together toward potential solutions.

Because the goal isn't to leave the hard questions on the table. The goal is to start ๐ฐ๐จ๐ซ๐ค๐ข๐ง๐  towards them!
