Technically it's true information framed deceptively, intended to create a false impression to guide you to an incorrect conclusion.

At the end of the day the wastewater treatment rate increase is over $300. per year not just $0.89

Taxpayers in our community are paying a hefty price for City Hall’s negligence.

In January 2025, the Willows City Council approved $178,944 for a new City Hall door project, tasking the city manager with negotiating the final contract. That never happened. Due to a complete lack of city council oversight, the project sat idle for 18 months.

Now, the project is back on the agenda, but the cost has skyrocketed to $216,422.

This administrative failure is costing our community nearly $40,000 in unnecessary inflation costs.

We must demand to know why the ball was dropped and why our hard-earned tax dollars are being used to cover up City Hall’s inefficiencies.

A new RFP should go out to bid for this project!

Or is the funding mechanism running to its end, causing this to be another emergency?

First added expenditure to the waste water treatment plant fee.

More costly than the current billing process.

This will be a huge issue and more costly to the city when residents don't make their payments.

Many believe that the proposed sewer increase in just over $25. What they are failing to see is that increase is per month. The annual increase that you will be realizing on your property tax bill will be going from $890. to $1,202. An increase of just over $300.
