Classroom to Career: Karizma’s Success Story!

At 23 years old, Karizma is turning opportunity into achievement!

With support from the New Hanover NC Works WIOA Youth Program, Karimza completed her Certified Medical Administrative Assistant/Medical Billing and Coding training at UNCW.

Then she put her training to work!

Through a WIOA On-the-Job Training opportunity with MedNorth, Karizma is now working full-time as a Patient Access Coordinator - gaining valuable experience and building a future in healthcare.

Karizma’s journey is a beautiful example of determination meeting opportunity.

Her hard work and willingness to invest in herself turned her career goals into reality.
