You'll learn about Habitat's 0% Mortgage Program, program requirements, the application process, and how homeownership builds lasting wealth. Plus, the seminar falls the day after our Rock the Block community event, so it's a great weekend to get connected with everything happening on the Eastside!

🏠 June is National Homeownership Month, and we’re celebrating the best way we know how: by opening doors.

Last week, Tanyya became a Habitat NCC homeowner. She invested her sweat equity ➡️ she did the work ➡️ and now she has a place to call her own.

We’re not stopping there. On Thursday, June 11th, FIVE more families will receive the keys to their new homes at Sankofa Place, 501 New Castle Avenue in Wilmington. We’d love for you to join us as we celebrate this milestone together.

🛠️ Something good is coming to the Eastside this Juneteenth, and we want you in on it.

🎉 On Saturday, June 13, Habitat for Humanity of New Castle County, Eastside Thrive, and the Delaware Juneteenth Association are coming together for Rock the Block. We start the morning with a community cleanup, then head to the Juneteenth parade, with a health and safety fair to round things out. One block, one celebration, and a whole lot of neighborhood pride.

Let's Open the Door!

Back in March, Tanyya was ready. She'd invested her sweat equity hours, met every requirement, and built something real alongside this community.

..Then, life gave her something even bigger: her baby boy arrived two days before her dedication ceremony.

🎉 Today, she got her moment. At Grace Point III in Middletown, Tanyya officially celebrated as a prospective homebuyer and her son will grow up in a home his mother built.

Congratulations, Tanyya. We are so proud of you!
