I am sorry, dear God
For sins I've committed,
For facts I've distorted
Or those that I've omitted.
Apologize never will silence the cries
Of babies or Mothers or real Human lives.
Men make the victims,not Jesus Christ.
God sent His Son here; and then came the lies.
God walked the Earth before Pilgrims arrived.
The Indians praised God as they lived and they died.
Are these just footnotes in some mythical tale
Or did Jesus give His life
For The White Privledged Male?

Neat self-defense...Greg
Thankful...in spite of some some obstacles
Interesting!!! Someone breaks into your house, beats your family,steals and ransacks the place and you don't need to look at the evidence or look for accountability. Poor America!

A Box of Pickles
If you asked me how to get out of “a box”,
I’d ask which box you’re in;
If you’re curious how to get out of “a fix”
I’d ask what was broken and when.
Some folks find themselves in “a pickle”,
I tell them it’s really the brine,
That makes one go sour and stew by the hour;
That same kettle used to be mine.
If you inquire just of me, I’ll only tell you what I see-.
That everyone must free their Self,
Vacate that solitary shelf;
Don’t be afraid to taste of Life,
Pleasures sweet or bitter Strife.
The tears of joy will co-exist
With those of pain on Life’s short list.
Sunsets accent daylight hours,
Sunrise startles birds to song;
As we cross the Universal Stage,
See our time as short or long,
The hours are less important than the
moment we begin~
To tear down that silly box we only thought
That we were in.

Don’t Be Afraid to Think about What You Know
The downfall of Man was arrogance
And not The Tree of Knowledge,
We killed the messenger but not the cause;
Stories change the details,
Turn the finer points to mist,
We magnify or minimize our flaws.
Abundance is more than enough to sustain,
Infinity can’t be corralled,
Happiness shared becomes Love overflowing;
Voice is Spirit speaking out loud.
What I say matters; what I do will last,
My actions today become part of my past.
In this instant is movement, all else introspection;
Wisdom passed down provides all my direction.
Kind acts hold weight; Love has function and form,
Mind perceives and then reaches its goal.
We transcend the distractions through unified Love
Merging Body, Mind, Spirit and Soul.
Adam and Eve were just like you and me,
They were crushed by their ego
Not snake, apple nor tree;
The Wisdom of Ages is the ladder Thought climbs,
There’s no need for aversion to using your Mind.

Create Your Own Gratitude
Gratitude changes perception,
The glass may seem empty some days
But the glass overflows when I let myself know
I can change thoughts in various ways.
The glass is half empty but still half remains;
Our lives are defined by acceptance of change.
We rise or we fall on the wings of each day
And confirm our true selves by what we do and say.
With gratitude I pass along,
That singing requires one knows there’s a song;
Hope is just something we get out of pain
And a rainbow requires by nature some rain.
Gratitude is easily found
If one takes time to look around.
Our perspective is a prism or prison that we make.
We are truly a reflection of the world that we create.
