Our mission is to champion volunteerism, education, and stewardship at Brandywine Creek State Park. WHO ARE THE FRIENDS?

First and foremost, the Friends are people who care deeply about the beauty of Brandywine Creek State Park. We are a 501(c)(3) organization that raises and distributes funds to protect the Park, enhance visitors’ experience, support our volunteers, and promote education programs at the Park. Thank you to Astra Zeneca and Surfriders Delaware for a great Creekside Cleanup this week at . We collected 7 pounds of trash and saw a lot of wildlife along the way! Come on back to Thompson Bridge for the in April!

Brandywine Creek's Enchanted Meadows event is happening October 18th, 19th, and 20th, and we are looking for volunteers to dress up in our costumes (or yours) and hand out candy to kids. We also have behind-the-scenes roles such as candy runners and registration table help. Contact [email protected] if you are available and interested in helping out! Thank you!

Thanks to those who came out this Tuesday to work with our Master Naturalist, Ed Jones. We will be meeting again next Tuesday at 10 am in the park office parking lot to remove invasive plants. Please wear long pants and long sleeves and closed-toe shoes. The work will end at noon. If you have your own gloves, feel free to bring them, but we will have extras on site. Please email [email protected] to reserve a spot! Hope to see you there!
