Limen Recovery and Wellness Limen Recovery and Wellness is a sober living residence, established in 1969, for men and women in recovery from drug and alcohol dependency.

Our mission is to offer a threshold to recovery and break the cycle of addiction in service to our community. Success through Partnerships and Generous Donors

In addition to generous contributions, many ancillary services are necessary to provide our clients the best opportunity for long-term recovery. Our valuable partnerships with other social service agencies in the community help our program be as successful as it is over the last forty years. These agencies include: Kirkwood Detox, Child Inc., Connections CSP, SOAR Inc., TASC, the Division of Vocational Rehabilitation, the Food Bank of Delaware, AIDS Delaware, the YMCA, Catholic Charities, Goodwill and West End Neighborhood House. The above list is not all encompassing and we are proud that Limen House is at the forefront of coordinating services within the community.

There is an important new chapter taking shape at Limen.

We have received the necessary approvals and zoning for a new, more intensive level of clinical care known as ASAM Level 3.7.

For Delaware and its families, the important part is the support this level of care can provide and how it fits into the larger recovery journey.

We are proud to be moving this work forward within a national behavioral health landscape shaped by organizations such as SAMHSA and others working to improve access, continuity, and recovery support.

For our alumni, families, friends, and community, this is an important milestone in Limen’s growth.

There is still more of the story to come. We look forward to sharing it with you as this next chapter takes shape.

We're still thinking about what a good day we shared at The Limen Classic last week.

This year brought together a longtime tradition and something new. Golfers returned to the course, while our first mahjong gathering gave even more friends of Limen and One Big House a chance to spend time together and support the work of recovery.

That sense of connection is what stays with us. People gathering, enjoying one another’s company, and showing up for a mission they believe in.

Thank you again to everyone who played, joined us for mahjong, volunteered, sponsored the event, and helped bring the day together. We’re grateful for this community and the many ways you continue to support recovery.

Monday’s Limen Classic was a wonderful day of golf, connection, and community in support of One Big House and the work of Limen and Friendship House.

Thank you to our sponsors and to the advisory board members and board members who made it possible. Your time, generosity, and steady support helped bring the day together and made it meaningful from start to finish.

Turns out, you don’t need golf clubs to have a good morning at the Limen Golf Classic.

We had a wonderful time at Mahjong for Mental Health this morning at DuPont Country Club. There was plenty of friendly competition, good conversation, and a lot of laughter around the tables.

Thank you to everyone who came out to play and support the work of Limen Recovery + Wellness and One Big House. We’re grateful for the people who make gatherings like this possible, and for the many different ways our community shows up.
