TONIGHT: You are invited to attend a public workshop on infrastructure planning for Southern New Castle County. It's happening tonight from 4:30-6:30 pm at the Odessa Fire Hall (304 Main Street, Odessa, DE 19730).

Join us to review and provide feedback on the study's preliminary findings, including traffic analysis results, future land use scenarios, and proposed pathway connections. Participants can share their preferences, suggest modifications, and help refine the recommendations that will guide future transportation and land use decisions in the study area. You know….a year ago I was that “crazy guy” fighting with council. But it was due to me not wanting a hyper-scale Data Center built in my district…and we won. It took fight, it took toughness, it took people like Councilman Carter, Rep Frank Burns, community advocates like Dale Swain and Debbie Heaton and countless others too many to name. It took Dustyn Thompson and his amazing Sierra Club team, it took people like our amazing Public Advocate Jameson Tweedie. There are so many names I can mention but I wanted to shout out the honorees of yesterday’s Sierra Club Environmental Awards Ceremony at Volunteer Brewery. Thanks team, we got s**t done 👏🫡 Finally, I cannot make this post without thanks to another gangsta, and that’s DNREC Secretary Greg Patterson. 👏

I'm excited to be on the Sierra Club Host committee and honor these incredible people who helped stand up to Data Centers in Delaware.

It took a lot of hard work, dedication, and community involvement to make meaningful progress, and I'm grateful to have been part of that effort alongside so many committed advocates.

Councilman Sheldon is the same individual who gave me the middle finger in Council. Now he is having random late night meltdowns attacking me on social media. These individuals as I have been saying for two years are simply not good people. They feel entitled that people question their power and complete incompetence. No worries, we are winning on the issues and they are hating it.

You know….some people asked me why I backed Kira. And apparently I was the “mean one” when I had to deal with people like Janet Kilpatrick and Tim Sheldon. This is how they operate, supported by sleazy land use attorneys. The Delaware way is dying….and I will never apologize for calling them out

"I cannot allow the state to continue to trump us each and every time when they have no idea what they're doing with land use. They have no idea what they're doing,” said Caneco. “We've seen this time after time after time again. And I think we need to send a message. So I will not be voting for this. I'll be very clear on this. I've been very direct on this. If you want to pass bills in Dover at 4:20 in the morning and not talk to us then, you're going to have this situation."

A typically routine vote was not Tuesday night as New Castle County Council balked at a ma*****na regulation bill passed in the General Assembly.
