We are proud to recognize the 41 Delcastle students who will represent our school and SkillsUSA Delaware at the 2026 SkillsUSA National Leadership & Skills Conference.

These students will compete across leadership, service, digital media, skilled trades, technical, and team-based competitions. They will be showcasing the talent, dedication, professionalism, and pride that make Delcastle so special.

proudly celebrated the graduation of the Delcastle Technical High School Class of 2026 at the University of Delaware’s Bob Carpenter Center.

This year, 388 seniors crossed the stage, representing 23 career areas and leaving behind a legacy of leadership, service, achievement, and Cougar pride.

The Class of 2026 has so much to celebrate:
✨ Nearly 80% of eligible seniors employed
✨ 154 seniors participated in dual enrollment coursework
✨ 96% of eligible seniors completed work-based learning, college coursework, or both
✨ 40 SkillsUSA gold medals earned
✨ State and national recognition through SkillsUSA, HOSA, Educators Rising, Science Olympiad, Poetry Out Loud, athletics, Esports, and more

We also celebrated a new honor cord tradition recognizing graduates with Honors, High Honors, and Distinguished Honors, along with our student leaders, military-bound graduates, and career and technical achievers.

Special congratulations to our student speakers, Marcos Leon-Gonzalez and Annia Medina-Mejia, who represented the heart, resilience, and promise of the Class of 2026.

New for 2026–2027: DIAA Sports Physicals + Rank One Forms

Delcastle Athletics is using Rank One for all required athletic forms for the 2026–2027 school year.

All student-athletes must complete their DIAA Sports Physical and upload all required forms through Rank One before they can participate in tryouts, practices, or games.

Families should create a Rank One account, claim their student, and upload the completed DIAA physical packet. Students can also visit the Delcastle Wellness Center to complete their sports physical for FREE.

Fall Sports begin August 10, so please do not wait!

Mr. Hanson brings a deep commitment to career and technical education, student success, school culture, and strong partnerships with families, staff, and industry. As Delcastle prepares for its next chapter, we are excited to welcome his leadership, experience, and vision to our school community.

We also extend our heartfelt gratitude to Mr. John Greenly as he prepares for retirement. His leadership and service have made a lasting impact on Delcastle, and we thank him for his dedication to our students, staff, and families.

🎓 Senior Reminder: Mandatory Graduation Rehearsal + Senior Sendoff 🎓

Class of 2026: your Mandatory Graduation Rehearsal is coming up on Tuesday, May 19!

📍 Meet in the Auditorium Lobby
⏰ Arrive at 8:30 a.m.
🎓 Rehearsal begins at 9:00 a.m.

This rehearsal is required for all graduating seniors.

After rehearsal, we will celebrate with our Senior Sendoff Parade and celebration in the stadium, weather permitting. Seniors will also receive their senior items that day, including yearbooks, yard signs, shirts, and bags.

Don’t forget to wear your decorated cap and your college, career, or military shirt to represent your next steps!

🎉 Congratulations to Delcastle senior Miguel Arellano-Hernandez, Carpentry Class of 2026, on his acceptance to Williamson College of the Trades!

Miguel will be attending on a full academic scholarship valued at more than $100,000, an incredible achievement and a testament to his hard work and dedication. We’re proud to celebrate this exciting next step in his journey!
