We've proudly been preparing Cougars to be champions in our communities since 1969. Delcastle Technical High School is Delaware’s leader in Career & Technical Education, offering 24 award-winning career programs that prepare students for college, the workforce, or advanced training. Our students benefit from dual enrollment opportunities, earning college credits while still in high school, and cooperative employment opportunities during their senior year, where they gain real-world experience and earn a paycheck while completing graduation requirements. We’re proud to be the only school in the NCCVT district with a robust Performing Arts program, giving students the chance to shine on stage and behind the scenes. Our athletic teams compete at the highest levels, and our over 50 clubs, honor societies, and leadership organizations ensure every student finds a place to connect, lead, and grow. As an active participant in Career & Technical Student Organizations (CTSOs), Delcastle offers students the opportunity to compete, lead, and innovate through:
--> SkillsUSA – Showcasing technical, leadership, and workplace skills.
-->HOSA – Future Health Professionals – Advancing healthcare knowledge and careers.
-->Educators Rising – Inspiring the next generation of teachers and education leaders.
-->DECA – Preparing emerging leaders in marketing, finance, hospitality, and management.
-->Business Professionals of America (BPA) – Building skills in business, finance, and IT. Our students consistently earn top honors in state and national competitions. Community service is a cornerstone of our school culture—Delcastle students are driven to Serve, Empower, and Transform their school, community, and future. Delcastle isn’t just a school—it’s a launchpad for life.
