Each Christmas season, the Contentnea Fire Department is proud to welcome families from across our community to enjoy our Christmas Light Show. What began as a local tradition has grown into one of the largest volunteer fire department events in North Carolina, now attracting more than 50,000 visitors each year and over 10,000 Santa visits.

We are currently inviting local businesses and community partners to become sponsors of this year’s event. Sponsorship is a great way to support our department while placing your business in front of thousands of families throughout the Christmas season.

Your sponsorship helps us grow, improve, and maintain the display each year while allowing us to continue creating special memories and Christmas traditions for families throughout our community.

Sponsor benefits may include:

• Recognition on event displays at concessions and Santa registration
• Recognition on our printed sponsor banner
• Display time on our digital LED sign on Highway 42 for qualifying levels
• Santa Quick Pass tickets, each including a $5 concession credit
• Increased visibility and positive recognition within the community

Sponsorship opportunities may be limited, so please contact us soon for more information.

A huge thank you to Representative Dante Pittman and Senator Buck Newton for working to provide $440,000 in funding recently approved in the North Carolina State budget for Contentnea Fire Department.

These funds will allow us to pay off our newest apparatus, Tanker 1002, which carries 3,000 gallons of water and can pump more than 1,500 gallons per minute. With this major investment secured, we can now begin focusing on the next apparatus that will benefit our department and community. — HINT: Possibly taking us to new heights!! 🚒🪜

We sincerely appreciate their continued support of our department and the citizens we serve
