Last night was National Night Out. This is our annual community-building event that promotes police-community relationships and partnerships.

The evening was filled with plenty of good conversation, crime prevention awareness tips, and fun for all.

Thank you to all the personnel who helped put on this event & to the attendees for coming out. See you next year 😀

-The City of Wilton Manors Police Department has partnered with the Rotary Connection to help people experiencing homelessness connecting them with the services they need to rebuild their lives. The Wilton Manors Police Department donated $1000 from the Law Enforcement Trust Fund to assist them with this purpose.
During their first year of service, the Rotary Connection has provided thousands of rides and reunited numerous individuals with family. WMPD is proud to support such an amazing organization!

-Members of the Wilton Manors Police Department attended the Back-to-School Breakfast at The Pace Center for Girls. This was a great opportunity for our officers and personnel to engage with the students and staff, strengthen our relationship with the school community, and show our support as the students begin the new school year. Thank you for having us!

Today is National Crime and Intelligence Analyst Appreciation Day. We want to honor our very own Analyst, Brianna Germain.

Brianna plays a huge role in working with Law Enforcement, reviewing data, crime trends and more to help officers & detectives identify suspects and solve crimes.

Thank you for all that you do everyday!

FLOODING ADVISORY

The City of Wilton Manors is currently experiencing flooding in several areas. Drivers are encouraged to avoid flooded roadways and seek alternate routes whenever possible.

Do not drive through flooded streets. Turn around and find an alternate route. Even shallow water can create dangerous conditions and cause vehicles to lose control.

Please use caution, allow extra travel time, and stay alert for changing road conditions.
