Wilton will host Anamosa this Friday night for the 1st round of playoffs. Being the leaders from Wilton Elementary, please stand silently during the playing of the National Anthem. Games that involve tackling, grabbing or pushing should not take place, while footballs and other toys should be left at home. Wilton students should remain on the homeside of the football complex, not going past the north end “W” under the scoreboard or past the Wilton Ambulance vehicle on the south end. If all else fails, sitting with your parents is the safest bet in cheering on a Beaver victory.

The Wilton Retirement Community is having a trick-or-treat open house on Thursday, October 29th from 5:30-7pm! Come join in the fun at the Retirement Community and the Assisted Living!

Our 5th graders took their learning outside for a field trip to explore nurse logs in the real world!

As we continue learning about ecosystems, students had the opportunity to make observations, make connections to what we’ve been studying, and see firsthand how matter cycles through these systems. From decomposing logs to the organisms that depend on them, students got to see how even what appears to be the end of something can provide the beginning of something new!

We couldn’t have asked for more beautiful weather to bring our learning to life! 🌿🔍 What a great day to get outside, explore, and see science in action!
