Wilton Democratic Town Committee Welcome. We uphold the vision of a better, fairer, brighter future for every American. We often have a guest speaker. All are welcome.

This is the official page of the Wilton Democratic Town Committee which meets the first Tuesday of each month (some exceptions, check www.wiltondems.org), online during the COVID-19 crisis, in person at Comstock Community Center, 180 School Rd., Wilton, 7:30 pm to discuss activities of our action groups. I just love when an Election Alert is sharing GOOD NEWS!

The Office of the Secretary of the State, with a $1M investment from the Connecticut General Assembly, is launching a statewide public information campaign featuring real registrars of voters and town clerks to explain Connecticut’s three voting options and help residents understand who administers their elections.

This is a nonpartisan campaign featuring 30- and 15-second advertisements in English and Spanish, along with digital billboards and online advertising.

Simple, clear, nonpartisan voter education is so important, and I can’t wait for everyone to see this campaign when it launches next week!

P.S. I’ve seen a lot of hater comments saying things like, “what is there to understand - fill in a bubble and put it in a machine.”. This underscores how important this is for Connecticut. I challenge those haters to answer the questions in my civics quiz correctly.

Our own Stephanie Thomas, Secretary of the State, in the house!

Being in Wilton just always hits differently. It was wonderful to join the Wilton Democratic Town Committee this weekend in my old State Rep stomping grounds! Nearly 100 were in attendance to be inspired by candidates running for all levels of office this fall. Way to go!
