Yesterday I attended the Dedication of the Pulaski Liberty Tree and the dedication of Plaques to put on the Graves for the First Daughters in Pulaski County. It was a nice ceremony and the weather was perfect. After it was over members of the Metamonong Chapter took the markers to the respective cemetery's and put them by the stones.

(Thank you to all the members that sent me these photos to share)

Our next meeting is Thursday October 1, 2026, 5:00 pm in the meeting room downstairs at the Museum. We will have L.A. Clugh from the Indiana Genealogy Society as a guest speaker.

She is checking on our progress with the cemeteries and she is going to give us a presentation about what her area has done with Cemetery Restoration.

I think this will be a great meeting and feel free to invite anyone you think might be interested.

In Sutton Cemetery, they talked about John Sutton, Samuel Ward and Jonathan Washington. In Olive Branch it was the Moore Brothers and Michael Mowery. Deb did the presentations.
