We’re kicking off October with our Office Crew! 🩷

From Customer Service, Billing, and Purchasing to our Meter Readers, Department Superintendents, and Administrative Staff, this crew helps keep Wi******er Utility System running smoothly every day! Whether it’s assisting customers, managing accounts, coordinating purchases, reading meters, overseeing operations, or handling the many behind-the-scenes responsibilities, each plays an important role in keeping our utility moving forward!

Today, we’re proudly wearing our pink to stand together in support of those who are fighting, those who have survived, and those we hold close in remembrance. 💕

Throughout October, we’ll be highlighting a different Wi******er Utility System department every Friday as we come together to raise awareness and show our support for Breast Cancer Awareness Month!

🚧 ROAD CLOSURE 🚧

Old Cowan Rd will be closed between Sells St and Sipes St for approximately 3 hours while Wi******er Utility System crews respond to a sewer emergency.

Please plan to take an alternate route and avoid the area if possible. We appreciate everyone’s patience while our crews work to resolve the issue as quickly and safely as possible.

Water will be off in the Knott Road area for approximately two hours while our crews repair a water leak.

Update: All water should be restored!

🚨 Water Main Break Notice 🚨

Wi******er Utility System crews are currently responding to a water main leak in the airport area.

Customers in the following areas may experience low water pressure or a temporary interruption in service while repairs are being made:

* Water Tank Road
* Keith Cove
* Williams Cove
* Centennial Road

Customers on the Cowan side of the 4-Lane may also experience low water pressure and could temporarily lose water service during the repair.

Our crews are working as quickly and safely as possible to make the necessary repairs. At this time, we do not have an estimated time for when repairs will be completed or service will be fully restored. We appreciate your patience and understanding as our crews work to resolve the issue.
