It seems like such a small thing, but a clean, warm pair of socks can mean so much to someone who needs them. ❤️

Our goal is to see just how many pairs our community can collect together — and we’ll be updating our Socktober Goal Tracker all month long! 🙌

Share a pair to show you care! 🧦❤️

A huge thank you to Ashlee Norton and everyone involved for bringing this together. We can’t wait to see what Randolph County does with this one!

A weekend of community, teamwork, and making memories! ❤️

From helping with the Main Street Festival parade to spending the weekend at Wi******er Speedway, New Roots was out doing what we love—showing up for our community!

A little work, a lot of laughs, and some pretty amazing people along the way.

Because building New Roots isn't just about opening a recovery home. It's about building connections, giving back, and becoming part of something bigger. 🌱

🦋 A day of hope, healing, remembrance, and community. 💜

Looking back at our Break the Stigma 2026 event, we're reminded of why we started New Roots Recovery Village in the first place.

Every face, every story, every hug, and every moment of connection was a reminder that recovery is possible, lives matter, and nobody should have to walk their journey alone.

What started as a vision turned into a community coming together to spread hope, honor lives lost, celebrate recovery, and remind others that their story isn't over. 🌻

A huge thank you to everyone who helped make this day possible, and a special thank you to Ella Schroeder for capturing these beautiful moments through her lens! 📸❤️

We're just getting started. One life, one connection, and one new beginning at a time.

Together, we CAN break the stigma. 🦋

So thankful for Mischa Staton & IN Treatment Centers! 🤍

Mischa from our Muncie team recently attended the Break the Stigma event, hosted by New Roots Recovery Village at the Randolph County Courthouse Square. 💜🦋

It was a meaningful day centered around prevention, awareness, recovery, and remembering the lives lost to substance use. Community members came together for live music, local resources, food, speakers, and conversations focused on hope and recovery.

We’re grateful to New Roots Recovery Village for bringing the community together and for the opportunity to be part of a day dedicated to breaking the stigma surrounding addiction and recovery.

🌱 NEW ROOTS IS MAKING HEADLINES! 🤍🥹

What started as a dream is slowly becoming a reality, and I couldn't be more grateful for the opportunity to share our vision with our community.

There is so much more to New Roots than simply providing a roof over someone's head.

Our vision is to create a safe, supportive, holistic, nature-centered recovery community where women rebuilding their lives after addiction and incarceration can truly heal, grow, and find their purpose again. 🌻

We plan to offer:

🌱 Peer recovery support and mentorship
🌱 Life skills and independent living education
🌱 Employment readiness and job opportunities
🌱 Financial literacy and budgeting
🌱 Reentry support and community resources
🌱 Mental health and wellness connections
🌱 Gardening, sustainability, and nature-based healing
🌱 A supportive environment that encourages accountability, independence, and personal growth

We don't just want to help women find recovery. We want to help them build a life they are proud of living.

Our goal is to address the barriers that so many women face when returning home and give them the tools, support, and opportunities they need to succeed.

I know we have a long road ahead of us, but I believe in this mission with my whole heart.

Thank you to the News Gazette for sharing our story, Molly Marcuson with OCRA for helping us navigate this opportunity, and everyone who continues to believe in what we're building. 💪🤍

Randolph County needs this. These women deserve this. And we're going to keep pushing forward. 🤍💜

New Roots Recovery Village hopes to establish a recovery home for women in rural Randolph County and is seeking the county’s assistance in applying for a grant of up to

🌱New Roots has a busy weekend ahead!

We're excited to be out in the community giving back this weekend!

🎉 We'll be helping with cleanup at the Wi******er Main Street Festival in the evenings and lending a hand with Saturday's parade!

🏁 We'll also be at Wi******er Speedway ALL WEEKEND helping park cars! Parking is just $10, and $1 from every parking ticket sold will be donated to New Roots Recovery Village! ❤️

We are so grateful for these opportunities and for everyone who continues to support what we're building.

New Roots is about more than opening a recovery home. It's about becoming part of this community, showing up, lending a hand, and making a difference wherever we can. 🙌

If you see us out this weekend, come say hi! 🤍

Building community. Breaking stigma. Growing new roots. 🌱

Just a quick clarification because I’ve had several people reach out today asking the same question 😊

New Roots Recovery Village / That's A Wrap Eggroll's will not be setting up at Mardi Gras this year. We will be helping with clean up and also the parade on Saturday, but no official booth!

We appreciate everyone thinking of us and checking in! We have quite a bit going on right now with New Roots, upcoming community events, our recovery residence work, and training, so we’re being intentional about what we commit to. 🤍🤞

If you ever have a question about where New Roots or That’s a Wrap will be, please feel free to reach out to us directly. We’re always happy to answer. Jason Abshear 💜🌻

Lots happening behind the scenes, and we’re excited for what’s ahead! 🤞

🍂🌱 HELLO, OCTOBER! 🌱🍂
A new month means new opportunities to show up, give back, and grow together. 💛
October is already shaping up to be another busy and exciting month for New Roots Recovery Village!

🧦 Socktober — We’ll be collecting socks and giving back alongside St. Vincent. (Details will be posted today! 🙌)

🎃 Halloween Donation Drive + Trick-or-Treat — We’re planning a fun evening with lots of candy for the kids while collecting items that will help support our big Christmas drive with Richard's Buy Sell Trade being planned for this holiday season!. 🎅

🎃 Pumpkin Painting at The Goodrich Mill — October 24 🧡
We’ll be joining Christina and the Goodrich Mill for some fall fun with a New Roots mini pumpkin painting booth! 🎨

🤝 Community Events & Volunteering — You’ll see our New Roots crew out and about this month, continuing to serve and connect throughout our community.

🌱 And behind the scenes, we’re still working every single day toward the BIG goal — opening the doors to our recovery residence and creating a safe place for women to rebuild their lives. We should have some really exciting things in the works and good news coming the last few months of the year! Stay tuned! 👀

September showed us just how much can happen when a community comes together, and we’re carrying that momentum straight into October. 👻 🎃

Keep watching our page because we’ll be sharing dates, donation needs, volunteer opportunities, and plenty more throughout the month! 👀

Here’s to October, new beginnings, and NEW ROOTS. 🍂🌱
