📚✨ A special learning experience in Mrs. Santos’s ELA class! Students had the opportunity to hear from WCS teacher Michelle Trites as she shared her writing and editing journey while publishing her very first book. She explained the writing process and the collaboration involved in working with her editor to bring her book to life. What a wonderful way for students to see the writing process in action and learn that becoming a published author takes creativity, revision, and perseverance! Way to inspire our Wildcats! 🐾

🎃👻 Our 6th graders had a blast carving and painting pumpkins during their Monster Bash at WCS! From spooky designs to creative masterpieces, everyone enjoyed getting into the Halloween spirit! 🧡🖤

🍂🌳 Learning Beyond the Classroom! 🌳🍂

Mrs. Clegg's students took their learning outdoors to explore why trees lose their leaves in the autumn! By utilizing our outdoor classroom, students got to observe nature up close and discover the science behind the beautiful fall colors and changing seasons. What a great way to connect classroom learning with the world around us! 🍁🐾

🎳 Strikes, Smiles & So Much Fun at WCS Bowling Club! 🎳

Our WCS Bowling Club had a fantastic time on the lanes! From knocking down pins to cheering on friends, students enjoyed plenty of laughter, friendly competition, and great memories along the way. We love seeing our Wildcats try something new, build friendships, and have fun together outside the classroom! 🐾💙🧡

📐 Learning by Building in WIN Math! 📐

Students in Mrs. Clegg’s WIN Math class have been working collaboratively to create rectangular prisms and calculate their volume. Using tiles to model their thinking, students were able to visualize the dimensions of each prism and connect their hands-on models to the math behind volume.

Great teamwork, problem-solving, and mathematical thinking in action! 📏🧮
