Many of you know her, love her, and remember Karen Arechiga as the manager at Cancun Mexican Grille and Cantina. Now, she’s the owner of Casa Mestiza, bringing a fresh chapter to this familiar downtown location!

Formerly Cancun Mexican Grille and Cantina, Casa Mestiza is now serving up authentic Jalisco-inspired Mexican flavors under Karen’s ownership. We love seeing familiar faces take on new opportunities right here in our downtown community!

The Ugly Sweater W**e Walk is back! 🍷🎄

Pull out your most festive, ridiculous or wonderfully ugly sweater and head to Downtown Windsor for one of the season’s favorite traditions. Enjoy 10 w**e tastings while exploring 15+ participating local businesses, shopping for holiday gifts and soaking up plenty of holiday cheer along the way.

Your $35 ticket includes 10 w**e tastings, a custom printed w**e glass, branded shopping bag and Downtown Windsor map.

It’s time to grab the costumes and make your way to Downtown Windsor for some Halloween fun on Saturday, October 24 from 12–3PM!

Local businesses will be handing out candy and goodies to costumed kids, making Downtown Windsor a fun stop for your trick-or-treating route. Then, keep the Halloween fun going at the Town of Windsor’s Boardwalk Park Trick-or-Treat event for even more treats!

Bring the whole family, dress up, and make an afternoon of it in Windsor. 🎃

Get ready to dance through the decades! 🕺

The Mother Son Decades Night Dance is happening October 9 from 6–8PM at the Community Recreation Center. Dress in your favorite decade, from the 50s through the 2000s, and enjoy retro hits, themed activities, refreshments and plenty of time to make memories together.

Recommended for youth ages 2–12, and substitutes are welcome! Grandmas, aunts, family friends and other special people can join in the fun, too. 💙

Pick your favorite era, dress the part and get ready for a night to remember!

Mayor's Choice Octoberfest Car Show Winner- The winner was Kai Bateman. He's a 16 year old at Windsor High School. His 1989 Red BMW is his first car, and he is working for his dad to get the money to continue to fix it up. He's a hard working young man that is passionate about cars. I loved his vision and wanted to "fuel" his continued work to restore his vehicle.🚗
