This Fire Prevention Week, Winfield R-IV students and staff have been preparing for visits from our local fire department, practicing fire drills, reviewing evacuation routes, and learning how to stay calm and safe! ❤️🤍

Thank you to our local firefighters and staff for helping our Warrior family prepare. These lessons matter at school and at home!

❤️G is for Growing Great Learners!❤️

Miss Ashley and Ms. Jaime’s preschool classroom was buzzing with excitement as students explored My “G” Book! Student helpers brought the pages to life by holding up pictures of gorillas, goats, grass, and a goose, encouraging classmates to connect letters, sounds, and words.

Students joined in practicing the G sound, even placing their fingers gently on their throats to feel the vibrations. Their enthusiasm and participation made story time an engaging learning experience!

During the lesson, Miss Ashley also received a special spotlight from her principal!

The learning continued as students moved confidently into centers, demonstrating independence, cooperation, and an understanding of classroom routines. Miss Ashley provided individual skill support while classmates explored and learned through play.

We love seeing our youngest Warriors grow as readers, learners, and classroom friends! ❤️

❤️Need a costume? Any Winfield R-IV student in need can visit the high school October 20 from 4–6 p.m. to pick one out!
