Apparently, we need a little clarification. We had a gentleman show up at the property recently. He said he saw on Google that the Hill was "open to the public from 0900-1500." There are operating hours of 0900-1500 on Google Map. Those hours reflect the hours for scheduling tours/visits. ALL tour/visits of the property must be scheduled. Walk-ups can be accommodated but call the posted number before entering the property. There are signs posted at all of the entrances with information to contact us for tours/visits.
We'll take this opportunity to remind our followers that the next Open Hill event is 07 November, 1000-1400. This is one of our seasonal opportunities for the public to visit and learn about the history of the Hill. Please pass the word to anyone you know who may be interesting in visiting he Hill. By respecting our privacy, we can continue to offer these public events and access to the history of the Hill.
