Our Dog Therapy Program is making a huge difference in the lives of our Veterans!

John, a Marine Corps Veteran, brought his 3-year-old German Shepherd, Zeus with him to our Winnebago home. Zeus has played a major role in helping John connect with his house mates and build friendships.

“The guys seem really great, and I just want to be the best version of myself,” Randall said. “That’s what we do here at Bravo Zulu.”

Your support can provide our Veterans with the unconditional love our furry friends offer, opening the door to healing. A great way to support our Dog Therapy Program is by becoming a member of Team Shield. Your financial support will help to provide food, veterinary care and training for our life saving canines.

Never underestimate the power of canine companionship! In our resident Dan Sauer’s own words, “There’s not much of a language to express the joy of it. He’s getting along, we’re all getting along. He sleeps with either me or the other point-of-contact at night and he sleeps like a pup. Makes me sleep like a pup too, I guess. That sounds corny but he’s adapting very well. As well as I am.”

Our Dog Therapy Program is helping Veterans rebuild their lives. Your continued support is needed to provide food, veterinary care and training for our dogs.

Please consider supporting the Dog Therapy Program through Team Shield!

Meet Polar, the newest and furriest member of the Bravo Zulu House family! Thanks to our incredible partnership with K9s For Warriors, this loving pup has joined us as our very first official Station Dog. While some Veterans bring their own dogs to live at BZH, Polar ensures that unconditional love is always on tap for everyone.

BZH is partnering with K9s For Warriors to build a dog therapy program with the purpose of saving Veteran lives. Rescue dogs are trained to serve those who served their country who, as a result of that service, suffer from invisible wounds such as PTSD and addiction. Future residents will be assigned a dog or will help take care of Polar.

Sustaining our dog therapy program requires your help! A great way to support our Dog Therapy Program is by becoming a member of Team Shield. Your financial support will help to provide food, veterinary care and training for our life saving canines.
