🎃 Good news—the registration deadline has been extended to October 14th! 🎃

There’s still time to show off your creativity in the Fairfield County 4-H Pumpkin Decorating Contest, hosted in partnership with the Fairfield County Chamber of Commerce. Keep sending in your registrations! The contest is open to all Fairfield County youth ages 3-18 — you do not have to be a 4-H member to participate.

Decorate a small- to medium-sized pumpkin by painting it, adding accessories, bedazzling it, or giving it a fun theme. Pumpkins may not be carved or cut. Entries will be displayed during Rock Around the Clock on October 24th and judged in four age divisions:

🍁 Little Pumpkin: Ages 3–4 (parent or guardian assistance allowed)
🍀 Cloverbud: Ages 5–8
🌟 Junior: Ages 9–13
🏅 Senior: Ages 14–18

Fairfield County 4-H is partnering with the Fairfield County Chamber of Commerce for a Fairfield County 4-H Pumpkin Decorating Contest! 🍂🎨

Save the date for Saturday, October 17, and get ready for a fun-filled day at the fair with your 4-H friends! 🎉

💚 4-H members get FREE admission! Just show your 4-H membership card at the gate.

✨ Don’t miss the 4-H Day Ceremony at 1:00 PM in the Nutt Cattle Arena, hosted by the State 4-H Teen Council!

⏰ We’ll start gathering at 12:45 PM for the ceremony, so come a little early and join your fellow 4-H members!

The RWA Soaring Eagles 4-H Club held its second meeting! Members planted carrot seeds in the school garden, decorated starter pots, and planted basil seeds to take home and grow indoors! 🌱🥕🌿

Today our Midlands STEM 4-H Club held their officer elections! Each candidate got up in front of everyone and gave their speech on why they believe they should be elected. It was a great opportunity to work on public speaking skills and showcase their interest in working on their leadership skills! Congratulations to the new MSCS 4-H Club Officers!💚
