FPCOA is a nonprofit organization geared to enhancing the lives of those 60 yrs. of age and older.

The Franklin Parish Council on Aging serves persons 60 and older by addressing the needs of the total individual and implementing programs to meet those needs. The organization is a non – profit organization which contracts with the State of Louisiana for funds. Since the funds are limited, the organization must rely on donations and fundraisers to subsidize the programs. The organization operates under a volunteer Board of Directors. The services are directed toward assisting the elderly and poverty clients to retain the level of independence they choose by providing the following services. Congregate Meals
