🎉 Congratulations to our September Staff Member of the Month, Brittney Finley! 🌟

Ms. Finley is an outstanding first-grade teacher and an awesome team leader. She is always willing to welcome others into her classroom, share effective teaching strategies, and answer questions. Her positivity and support make a meaningful difference throughout our school.

As part of this recognition, Ms. Finley received a complimentary entrée from Ruby Tuesday in Winter Haven and has been entered into a special drawing for an overnight stay and theme park tickets at LEGOLAND Florida Resort.

Thank you, Ms. Finley, for all you do for your students, your team, and the entire Garner family! We also appreciate LEGOLAND Florida Resort and Ruby Tuesday for partnering with our school to celebrate our outstanding staff members. 💙💛💚

Culture, Community, and Celebration: A Look Back at Hispanic Heritage Month! 🎉❤️

As Hispanic Heritage Month comes to a close, we’re reflecting on the amazing experiences our students and staff shared throughout the month. During our Hispanic Heritage Spirit Week, students and staff dressed up, participated in cultural activities, learned traditional dances, played games, and created maracas while celebrating the rich traditions and contributions of Hispanic cultures.

Our staff also enjoyed a special luncheon as part of the celebration. We would like to give a heartfelt thank you to Bloom Cafe, located at 4700 Crump Road, for their generous donation of appetizers. Your support helped make this event even more meaningful.

At Garner, these memorable experiences are possible because of the incredible support of our community partners. Thank you for helping us create opportunities that enrich, inspire, and celebrate the diverse cultures that make our school so special! ❤️

🤖🐝🚗 What a great turnout for STEM Night on Tuesday! Families explored how our students use Indi Cars and Bee-Bot Robots to build coding and problem-solving skills. Together, they designed infrastructure and created routes for their robots to navigate to different buildings.

The best part of the night was watching our students proudly teach their parents what they have been learning and showcase their knowledge of robotics. Thank you to everyone who joined us for this fun evening of learning and family engagement!
