Guests had the opportunity to tour the Police Department, learn more about the different areas of WSPD, watch K9 demonstrations, enjoy crafts and food, and get an up-close look at some of the tools, equipment and vehicles our officers use.

A special thank you to Action Church for helping provide food and some crafts for the event and to everyone who helped make the evening possible.

We appreciate everyone who stopped by, met our officers and staff, and took the time to learn more about WSPD. We hope to see you again next year!

The Winter Springs Police Department would like to address questions about the significant police presence near Winter Springs High School this afternoon. Our officers were responding to a call unrelated to the school. However, given the proximity to the school, a Code Yellow was issued out of an abundance of caution. There is no threat to the community, the incident has been cleared, and the school has resumed normal operations.
