If you noticed some holes in the ground yesterday, that is because today, the Winterset Tree Commission in coordination with local homeowners planted 30 trees within the City of Winterset right of way!!! Maintaining our urban canopy within Winterset is extremely important to our community! Thanks to Bentley Ridge Tree Farm & Nursery for assisting with the plantings!!

Late last week we were able to complete a retaining wall next to our all-inclusive playground that will assist with managing runoff after rain events.

The retaining wall was designed and installed by our parks team!
