⚡️ DEDICATED TO SAFETY, TRAINED FOR THE STORM: THANK YOU, METHOW VALLEY! 🚒
Yesterday’s lightning storm kept Okanogan County Fire District 6 moving fast, responding to 8 incidents in just 4.5 hours. As customary, a minimum of 2 stations were dispatched per incident to ensure our crews had immediate backup on every single scene. A massive thank you to our volunteer firefighters who dropped everything during dinner and family time, our command officers and staff who expertly coordinated these multi-station responses.

2012 Chevy Tahoe. Vehicle has 181,554 miles on original motor. Sealed bids will be accepted until August 6, 2026 @ 5:00 pm. Bids can be sent to PO Box 895 Winthrop, WA 98862 or delivered to 33 Horizon Flat RD, Winthrop, WA Mon through Thurs. between 9:00AM and 5:00 PM. Bids must be marked “2012 Tahoe” on the sealed envelope.

What an incredible Independence Day weekend here in the Methow Valley! 🎆Thank you to everyone who came out to support the 135th Annual Twisp 4th of July Parade. We absolutely loved seeing the smiling faces along the route and cooling everyone off with the crowd-favorite fire truck water spray! We are so proud to serve this amazing community. We are safe because of an incredible team effort. We want to extend our deepest gratitude to all the neighboring fire districts and emergency agencies who worked tirelessly alongside us to protect our community.
