It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved K9 Rocky.
Rocky was more than a K9 Officer; he was a loyal partner, a trusted protector, and a cherished member of our law enforcement family. His dedication, courage, and unwavering loyalty touched the lives of those who worked alongside him and the community he served.
While words can never fully express the sadness of this loss, we are forever grateful for Rocky’s service, the lives he helped protect, and the special bond he shared with his handler, Lt. Ben Wiese. The connection between a K9 and their handler is truly extraordinary, built on trust, sacrifice, and unconditional love.
To Lt. Wiese and his family, and all those who had the privilege of knowing and working with him, please know that our thoughts and prayers are with you during this difficult time.
Rest easy, Rocky. Thank you for your service, your bravery, and your faithful heart. You will never be forgotten.
