One year ago, I took the oath of office as a Wood County Circuit Court Judge. Looking back, it’s hard to believe how quickly this incredible year has gone by.
This journey has been so much more than a career milestone—it has been deeply personal. I have had the honor of becoming the first elected female judge in Wood County’s history, and I hope that milestone reminds every young girl and every person with a dream that barriers can be broken and history can be made.
Serving this community is truly one of the greatest privileges of my life. Every day, I strive to treat every person who enters my courtroom with dignity and respect, to listen carefully, and to apply the law fairly and impartially. I never take this responsibility for granted.
As I reflect on this first year, I am filled with gratitude—for my family, my friends, my colleagues, and the people of Wood County who placed their trust in me. Your support has meant everything.
Thank you for believing in me and allowing me to serve this community that I love. Here’s to continuing to serve Wood County with integrity, compassion, and humility for many years to come.
