As we enter the winter season, typically the time of year with the highest potential for storm-related issues, the Wolfeboro Municipal Electric Department would like to remind our customers that we are prepared and here for you should any issues arise.

We want to assure you that during any large-scale outage, our crews are working as quickly and safely as possible to restore power. Once your outage or trouble report is called in, it is logged and assigned to a crew. Please refrain from calling multiple times for the same issue, as this can create confusion within our reporting system.

Our restoration process begins with our main feeders, focusing first on critical facilities such as the hospital, public safety building, and schools ensuring that essential community services are restored first. After our main infrastructure is back online, we shift our attention to residential areas, restoring the largest populated areas first and then progressing outward until all customers have been restored.

We promise to work tirelessly until power is restored to everyone.
Finally, please remember: no line is safe to touch. EVER! If you see a power line down, do not approach or move it, as it may still be energized.

Thank you for your patience, understanding, and continued support!
