Fall came to Woodburn Ambulance in the most beautiful way last night. 🍁
Three people sent me pictures of what their evenings looked like, Israel and Anneliis had an amazing sunset in Mt. Angel, and Alli and Scott found a beautiful Rainbow outside Woodburn Quarters. It really is special here. ❤️

Over the weekend, Alli and Chris got to be a part of Woodburn Fire District Open House. This open house is an amazing event showcasing multiple community organizations centered around safety and emergency response. It was an honor to be able to be a part of it and connect with almost 600 community members!

Yesterday, Dan and Chris joined Woodburn Fire District at Heritage Elementary for their Safety Fair to talk about when to call 911 in an emergency and what we do. Dan and Chris both got to show off what “our office” looks like, and all the very important equipment we use to help people.
These school events give us an opportunity to show the children of our communities we are here to help them. When they see us here, they know we will be there if they need us later.

Nate now works part time, which only means everyone has to wait to get to work with him, but when he works, he brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to everyone he comes across.🏆

Today we remember and honor the lives lost on September 11, 2001, and the first responders who made the ultimate sacrifice.

We were proud to be a part of this morning’s 9/11 memorial at Woodburn Fire and stand together with our partners in Police, Fire and EMS in remembrance.

Don’t be an NPC when you could be lifesaver.

If you see a teen or adult collapse, start Hands-Only CPR. It’s like pushing the restart button on a heart in cardiac arrest. CPR keeps blood and oxygen moving until professional help can arrive.

Know these two steps:

Call 911.

Push hard and fast in the center of the chest.
