The Youth Pheasant Hunt will take place on October 24th.

There will be 15 participants chosen by lottery.
Participants must be between the ages of 11-17 and live in Monroe County.
Participants must also have a valid hunting license.

Please call the office at 740-472-5477 to register.

We want to say a HUGE THANK YOU to everyone who attended out 84th Annual Meeting. We are so grateful for everyone for the support of our District. We could not accomplish everything we do if it wasn't for all of you. Thank you to Monroe Central FFA and Animal Science Program for serving our dinner. Thank you to Jason & Carol Clutter for making the wonderful meal. Thank you to Crystal Christman for the delicious cupcakes. Thank you Emily Alleman for being our presenter and speaking on farm safety. Thank you to the Monroe SWCD staff for all of your hard work putting all of this together. Thank you to the Monroe SWCD board for all of you help putting on this night. Thank you to everyone that helped put together and clean up from this event. We are so grateful for each and every one of you!

We have 5 Monarch cages ready to go to the classroom. If you would like one please message or call the office. We would like to get one in every school before we double up at a school. We will hopefully have more to come if the caterpillars cooperate!

It is time for the 2nd Annual Big Tree Contest!

If you have a tree you would like to have measured, call the office by September 14th @ 4pm to schedule with John!

We had a blast at the fair this year and hope you did too!! We released so many monarchs and the Conservation Crusader made a visit on Friday. Thank you to everyone that stopped by the trailer, came to our event with SCP and those that just stopped by to say positive things about our education trailer. We love seeing everyone at the fair and can't wait til next year!!!
